Hello Beauties!
I pray you all are having a fabulous day. I just wanted to take the time to post a few photos from my transition back to natural hair. As many who know me outside of the blog word may know, I cut my hair in March of this year. The main reason I cut my hair is because I had a keratin treatment put into my hair during the summer of 2010. I did not like the effects it had on my hair. Thus... I decided to cut my hair. Here are a few photos of my hair before, after the big chop, protective styles and NOW. Enjoy! :-)
God bless!

Trick Up My Sleeve...
Hello Beauties!
I wanted to give you all a quick little trick I've been doing lately. As we all know, it's the summer time. When I think of summer, I think of flowing dresses, shorts and most importantly, SANDALS. Now you can't rock the sandals without having a cute little pedicure, but in this economy, who can afford a pedicure every few weeks? Well, I found an inexpensive solution.
Some of you may remember my previous blog on Sally Hansen's Nail Effects. [If not, click HERE.] The nail effects are basically strips of nail art that you fit to your finger, peel and just stick. Well, I've started doing them on my toes. It's SUPER easy! It just takes a little patience, but it's worth it in the end. Plus, they are dry so no need to wait!
For this, I used two different styles of the Nail Effects. To save even more of the strips, I found a strip that would fit my toe, cut it in half and used them for both feet. So in the end, I will have two pedicures for $10. Completely worth it! Also, this is my second time doing this and the first time could have lasted well over three weeks. Hope you enjoyed this little tip.
Have any questions? Comment me below! God bless you!

June/July Faves
Hello Beauties!
I recently noticed that many other bloggers are incorporating their favorite beauty products into their blogs to share. I wanted to do the same! These are just a few products that I love!
[From LEFT to RIGHT...]
1. MAC Eyebrow Pencil -- Eyebrow pencils had always been in my "drugstore shopping list." It wasn't until I read another blogger talking about this pencil and I decided to give it a try. O-M-G! Not only does it go on smooth, but it literally lasts all day! Love, love, love!
2. Make Up For Ever Full Cover Concealer -- Lately, I have begun branching out and trying new products. In talking to a beauty advisor at Sephora, this product was recommended. Let me just say... I can say hands down that this is the BEST concealer I have EVER used! I say this because I can put this concealer on and not only does it cover up undereye circles, but I can wear it alone without anything else and appear to have flawless skin. A must have!
3. Bare Minerals Flawless Definition Mascara -- This little treat came in a Sephora gift I recently received. I'm one of those people that are very picky with mascara because I desire volume and length. This little baby gives me both. I have never really been a Bare Minerals fan before, but I could see myself purchasing this because it makes my lashes beautiful.
4. Milani Lip Flash -- I believe everyone knows that I'm a big fan of long lasting lip color. With all I have to do in a day, I need it! This little baby reminds me a lot of the Sephora lip pencils that I mentioned in a previous blog, which you can find HERE. They do not last as long but for half the price, I'll say it's a major keeper!
5. MAC "Straight to the Head" Lipgelee -- Hands down, THIS is my favorite lip gloss of all time. MAC packaged awesomeness in a container with this. If you're a fan of shimmer and nudes, this is your baby right here. It's sort of a copper, champagne-ish type of color that I can literally wear with anything. If you're a fan of lip gloss, this is a must have for your collection.

God bless!

My Little Secret(s)
Hello Beauties!
Last week I was perusing through Sephora, when I struck up a conversation with one of the beauty advisors. In our talking, she complimented me on my highlight shadow on my cheeks. Since I obviously was in Sephora, she seemed to expect it to be a Sephora product. To her surprise, I let her know that it was actually from an E.L.F bronzer palette.
That led me to reveal this...
Many people tend to think I only wear MAC, but the truth is... Most of the makeup products I wear are from affordable brands such as E.L.F and Maybelline. I remember being all about MAC for YEARS, but quite frankly, why buy something expensive when you can find the same quality for less?!
The key is STAPLES. I believe in buying items such as concealer and foundation from places like Sephora or MAC. [Note: Currently, I'm in love with Make Up For Ever's Full Cover Concealer & Duo Mat] For everything else including, shadows, blushes, mascara, I'm all about the drugstore baby!
Here are the drugstore buys I wear daily:
1. E.L.F Tone Correcting Concealer - $1
2. E.L.F Blush - $3
3. E.L.F Bronzer Palette - $3
All of the above products can typically be found at K-Mart, Target or click here. These three products are a must have in my book. Any questions? Comment below!
