When it comes to the beach, we tend to automatically think of seafood, but Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina showed me that they have even more to enjoy! Last month, hubby and I visited Wrightsville Beach for a few days to start my birthday celebration and we had so much fun. You can see some of the fun we had, including paddleboarding, here. While we were there, we indulged in so much good, local food. The best part is that most places were not only delicious, but super affordable for an elevated experience. Whether you’re looking for breakfast, lunch or dinner, I have a few spots below that will fulfill each foodie mood you have.

If you know me, you absolutely know that the beach is my happy place! I have been traveling to the beach every summer with my family since I was a little girl and one of my family’s favorite beaches is Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina. I grew up just an hour away from Wrightsville Beach and it’s a place that brings me so much happiness because I love the ocean, the great food and happy memories it brings. My husband and I recently traveled down to Wrightsville Beach for an early birthday getaway and we quickly found out that Wrightsville Beach has so much more to offer than we realized.

I wondered if it was too late to share my NYC trip recap with you all, but after sharing my thoughts on Twitter, I was told it is never too late. I'm excited to share this trip with you all because honestly, it was one for the books. This was my second trip to New York City and my first time at New York Fashion Week. The trip itself came together like a whirlwind. I did not know that I would be attending until two weeks before, but it all came together. I am forever grateful to my husband and my mother for gifting me this trip for my birthday. I spent three days in NYC and I literally did a week's worth of events in only a few days. It was worth every single penny!

I have a simple question. Can I go back to Charleston already? I went to Charleston last week with my hubby for a quick getaway to celebrate our fourth wedding anniversary and the trip went by entirely too fast. We'd been wanting to check out Charleston for the last few years and I was so happy we were finally able to go. Charleston is such a charming place. Plus, with just a four hour drive from Greensboro, it was the ideal location for a change in scenery without being far from home.

Am I the only one missing the holidays? The holidays are one of my favorite times of the year because of all of the Christmas cheer, great food and family gatherings. It has always been one of my favorite times of year and as always, one of the busiest. Between working part time, blog deadlines and spending time with family, it can be a hectic time. One of the best parts about this past holiday was that I had a fabulous ride to get me everywhere I needed to go. I was able to test drive the 2017 Mazda6 that obviously was the perfect color for the holiday season. I drove the 2017 Mazda6 to work, run errands, during date night with my hubby and so much more!

It is hard to believe that #Blogalicious9 was a month ago. I went into Blogalicious knowing that it would be an incredible experience, but it surpassed my expectations. I knew from the first day that I was in for an inspiring, knowledge-gaining experience. Trust me, I got exactly that. VIP Mastermind Day started the conference completely getting my life together and encouraging me to go after what I really want and deserve. The thing is, though... Blogalicious goes deeper than just encouraging you to get your coins. Blogalicious taught me the power of true sisterhood and truly how to treat your sister.

Last week, I spent four days in St. Augustine, Florida and needless to say, I didn't want to come home. St. Augustine, also known as the Nation's Oldest City, has been on my list of places to visit for the past few years. Between the history, gorgeous architecture and beautiful beaches, I felt it was a place that had everything my husband and I love. So, after deciding St. Augustine would be the perfect place for our third wedding anniversary vacation, I asked myself, "Is St. Augustine a place we could visit even on a budget?" The answer is yes! Whether you are visiting St. Augustine, Florida with your family, your girls or even alone, there are so many things to do that are $10 or less and some are even free!
