It's no secret that I'm a regular user of Dove products. I've been using Dove since I was in high school. From the body wash to their hair products, there is always some form of Dove in my home. The interesting thing I realized a few weeks ago is that I have not used the Dove Beauty Bar on my face in years. After seeing several commercials about how the Dove Beauty Bar has changed women's skin, I decided when Dove recently contacted me that I would like to take the challenge myself. I used the Dove Beauty Bar for 14 days and I was pretty amazed at what happened.
Three Ways Dove Beauty Bar Transformed My Skin
1. It gave my skin a glow.
If you follow me on Snapchat, you know I'm all about a glow honey! Typically, though, that glow is coming from my slight obsession with skin highlighters. Dove Beauty Bar gave my skin a true glow that I was not expecting. In fact, I started receiving more compliments on my bare skin via Snapchat after I began using the beauty bar. I noticed it immediately, but when others began commenting on it, I knew it was for real.
2. My skin became incredibly soft.
After a few days of using the Dove Beauty Bar, I found myself touching my face periodically throughout the day. I was really amazed by how soft my skin was becoming. My face was soft before, but it became baby soft within a few days. I attribute the new softness to the nutrients it replenishes your skin with after cleansing and the 1/4 moisturizing cream in every bar.
3. My skin is less oily.
Now this was the true surprise for me! Most of you all know that I have combination skin. In the summer time, it can be especially hard to keep the oil under control. I want someone to explain to me why I only have had to blot my face a few times in the last two weeks! My skin rarely became oily. This may have occurred because Dove Beauty Bar uses a mild cleanser. Most cleansers may strip natural oils therefore making my skin even oilier. Since Dove Beauty Bar has a mild cleanser, I believe my skin was able to maintain it's balance and stay moisturized without becoming too oily.
