Quarantine, But Make It FASHION

Beauties,

It is utterly amazing how much things can change in a month.  I never thought that we would ever be experiencing a pandemic, but that is our current reality.  My main goals throughout the this time are to stay positive, stay in prayer, stay at home and sanitize.  I was recently telling one of my girlfriends, it is also so important to still create during this time because our current reality shouldn't stop our business.  It should only make us MORE creative!

With that said, my photographer and I recently shot together and used a variety of locations that weren't too far from home.  I was happy to get in front of the camera again because baby, I have found some gems lately that I couldn't wait to photograph.  Today's outfit is basic with a twist.  During one of my recent trips to my hometown, I found this shirt while thrifting at Goodwill.  This was also a shirt that I had to make work because when I tried it on, it was a bit too small, but I loved it so I opted to wear it open like a blazer.

I thrifted this Alfred Dunner shirt for less than $4 and it includes a mix of animal prints and sheer panels.  Since it has such bold details, I wanted it to be the star of the show.  I paired it with a basic black tank, my favorite black biker shorts and my favorite Dr. Martens.  I also added fun accessories like these sunglasses, earrings and ear cuffs and a snake ring.  This outfit is one of my favorites and includes a pretty good formula I always use when I'm not sure what to wear.

Start with neutrals, add a POP of print or color and finish with bold accessories.
