Air Max Day 2021

If you are a sneaker lover, you know that today is a special day in the sneaker community.  It's that special day of the year that we like to call, Air Max Day.  You all may not know this, but Air Max has a special place in my heart.  If you've been following me on Instagram, you may have noticed my increasing love for sneakers in the last year.  The truth is, I've had an on again, off again fascination with sneakers since high school. In fact, I still remember the first pair of sneakers that I was enamored by and it was a pair of red and white Air Max 90.  I loved how crispy and fresh they looked, but I never got the chance to get them.

Fast forward to 2020 and we're in the midst of the panaromic.  Like most people, my focus really became on comfort and how I could make super comfy outfits, super fly.  One day my husband surprised me with a Nike box and inside were these Air Max 90 that I'm wearing today.  I was so surprised and also in awe because I had always wanted this classic silhouette. 





There's something special about Air Max to me.  It's the nostalgia, the variety of colors and the clean look.  It's all of that!  I feel like you can never go wrong with Air Max and I love that my husband remembered how special this silhouette is to me.  It wasn't long before he got a pair for himself and I knew when Air Max Day came this year, we had to represent!
