Over the weekend, I took a trip to Greensboro and during my adventure, I decided to stop into the popular store, Sisters Jewelry and Gifts. I recently won a gift card from a giveaway contest they held on their Facebook page. After winning the contest, I was excited to stop in and check out what they had to offer.

When I was in Chicago last weekend, I had the pleasure of meeting Terez of Dbabetta. As we were heading to dinner with other BLM Girls in the Chi, I noticed her beautiful peter pan collared necklace. I loved it so much that I asked her were she got it from and even attempted to find it the next day.
Peter pan collared necklaces are definitely the rage for the upcoming fall season and I love them! They are perfect with t-shirts, shift dresses, collared shirts, button up shirts, etc. They can bring a great pop to any outfit. Plus, if you are not big into accessories, this could be the one piece you invest in for the season.

Many of you may not know, but August is a special month for me! This is my birthday month! I'm definitely one of those people who take birthdays very seriously because in actuality, it's a blessing to see another year. I was always raised to celebrate birthdays and because of that, starting August 1, I begin the celebration. This year I wanted to do things a bit different. I am in the midst of celebrating; however, I wanted to celebrate with YOU too!

If you follow me on Instagram (missfabellis), I'm sure you have begun to notice my affinity for big, bold statement pieces. I just love a piece of jewelry that can take a regular outfit over the top. Because of this, it was no surprise that when I came across Haute37, that I fell in love. The pieces on the jewelry website based in Texas are truly beautiful and not only that...affordable! I was tickled when I was given the opportunity to choose two items from the site. I couldn't wait to put them on when they came in the mail.

I wanted to do a quick blog on a great store in the area that I visited this weekend. This weekend I had the chance to catch up with my friend Carmen and we took the time to visit Charming Charlie. The store just opened in the Raleigh area a few months ago.
I was in awe at the store. Although I thought the prices were a bit high for some items, I thought the concept of the store being separated by color was outstanding. I mean, imagine... You have an event to go to and you have to wear a specific color, this is the ideal store for your accessories. While I was in the store, I found a few pieces that I fell in love with.

I had a thought recently. I often blog about beauty items, but I think I have an equal amount of love for shoes (yes!) and jewelry, especially statement pieces. When it comes to both jewelry and shoes, I'm always looking for items that are rare, unique.
Knowing this, a dear friend of mine suggested a Facebook page to me from a young lady with a jewelry business called Madam of Glam. After viewing her page, I fell in love with some of her pieces. After corresponding with Tiarra, the owner & located in Maryland, through a few e-mails, I decided to purchase a very affordable pair of spiked earrings. I purchased the pair on a Friday and received them less than a week later.

I absolutely love these earrings! Plus, they were only $10! One thing I enjoyed was the personal note included in my package. It was a great touch and I will be a returning customer. Many thanks and much love to you Tiarra!
