Protective Style: Partial Curly Hair Sew-In (Model Model Deep Weave)

Hello Beauties!

It has been awhile since I took down my senegalese twists and I was feeling ready for a new style.  Plus, I needed a break from natural hair, but I digress...  After seeing a picture of natural hair vlogger, Ambrosia's, curly hair clip ins, I was inspired and really wanted to find a style similar to what she was rocking.

I wasn't able to find the exact hair she used; however, I got the same brand in a different curl pattern.  I used the Model Model Pose Deep Weave, which I found at my local beauty supply store.

To get my first impressions of the hair, check out the video below:

So far, I really love this hair!  It's very soft and tangles minimally.  Instead of making clip-ins, I had the hair installed as a partial sew-in and I left a portion of my hair out at the top.  I blended my own hair by doing a twist out on my leave out.  To do my twist out, I applied Finickey Curl Confection Style Cream to my strands before twisting!  Voila!

Are you rocking a protective style?

God bless & stay fabellis!

  1. This style looks so pretty on you. I wear twist outs and braid outs mostly.

  2. I liiiiike!! I am tempted to try it mainly because I am very very tired of my natural hair at the moment. I can't braid or twist and my hair is so fine it doesn't like to be played with much. Le sigh. But your cute weave is making me wonder what I would look like with one...hmmmm :)

    1. Thanks ladybug! I think you should give it a try. I think with natural hair, everyone needs a break and I love trying new things. Give it a whirl. :-)

  7. This hairstyle looks great on you, Ashley! I love the curl pattern. Right now I'm bunning my hair daily (boring I know lol), but I plan to get some twists before the month ends.
