Raleigh Fashion Week 2012: VIP Kick Off

Hello Beauties!

Last week was Raleigh Fashion Week here in my city.  There was a great lineup of events, including the VIP Kick Off event at Saks Fifth Avenue last Monday.  Although I knew I would not be able to attend most of the events, I made it a point to attend the kick off event because my friend and stylist, Marquelle Turner, had styled many of the men's fashions for the fashion show.

The night started off with hors d'oeuvres, champagne and the hosts of the event opening the evening.  After the hosts spoke a bit, the fashion show got started.  Enjoy the pictures!

Two of my favorite looks from the runway were the red blazer with leather, full skirt worn by Runway Mom and the male look with the dark coat, boots and sunnies styled by Marquelle Turner.

Burberry Brit trench | Versace shirt | Vince cardigan | Hudson denim | To Boot New York boots | Gucci sunglasses

At the end of the night, I was captured in a picture with two of my friends, including fashion blogger, Sir Byron Laurent Style and Fashion Consulting on the left.

What was your favorite look?

God bless & stay fabellis!

P.S.  Don't forget to follow me on Instagram and keep up with me while I'm on the go!  (@missfabellis)

  5. Nice event! I'm all for event recaps on blogs. It gives me a better insight of what's happening where you reside. Anywho, I like the same looks that you liked. The red jacket/leopard blouse combo - you can't go wrong with that.
