Personal Style | Brunching It

Hello Beauties!

If you follow me on Instagram or Facebook, you may know that this weekend was life changing for me.  I got married!  One of the things I told my husband was that I really wanted to have brunch at a local restaurant the day after our wedding.  I felt that this loose floral top I recently chose from Sammy Dress was perfect for the occasion.  This was my first time ever wearing clothing from Sammy Dress.  I will share my impressions of the item I received and more details on my outfit below...

Due to Sammy Dress being an overseas company, many reviews I read said that their clothing runs small.  I opted for this beautiful top because of the pattern and the loose fit.  I received the shirt in less than three weeks and it fit wonderfully.

Top:  C/O Sammy Dress
Jeans:  Forever 21 Plus
Heels:  Payless
Clutch:  Thrifted

I did notice that the shirt was missing the inner tag with sizing and wash instructions.  Due to me being familiar with the material, I do know how to wash the item; however, it missing a tag makes it difficult for most customers to be able to care properly for the clothing.

I decided to pair the top with comfy jeans, heels and a vintage clutch.  I'm excited to use this clutch.  It is the one vintage item I thrifted years ago and have yet to wear.

Top:  C/O Sammy Dress
Jeans:  Forever 21 Plus
Heels:  Payless
Clutch:  Thrifted

Are you a fan of Sammy Dress?  What is your ideal brunch outfit?

God bless & stay fabellis,

  3. Hey Mrs. Carter!!! Congratulations to you and the Mr. I've never heard of Sammy Dress but that top is super cute. I love brunch and don't go often enough. I love spring brunches and maxi dresses.

  4. CONGRATULATIONS!!! Cute! Love the print! I've never heard of the company, so I will have to check them out. A brunch outing for sure calls for cute and comfy. I would probably wear a maxi dress with gladiator sandals and a denim jacket if it was a bit cool out :)

  7. Congrats on the wedding girl! I'm very happy for you! That top is super cute. I do agree with the importance of care labels. Maybe it was just that one shirt that was missing it. I like maxi dresses or maxi skirts for brunch. Basically something I could roll out of bed and throw on.
