Personal Style | June Style Challenge - "Monochromatic Me"

Hello Beauties!

Today we are officially at the halfway mark of the June Style Challenge!  This challenge has been so much fun and I have truly enjoyed seeing the looks that the other ladies have come up with as well as expanding my own fashion sense.  This Monday is Week Three of the challenge and our challenge this week is "Monochromatic Me."  Our challenge is to wear only one color from head to toe.

I wanted to branch out and do a color other than black, but black is one of the easiest colors for me to wear.  Even though this wasn't a thrift challenge like last week, I am pleased to say my total outfit was around $60.  I took Forever 21 joggers and paired them with a black crop top just like the one worn here.

Crop Top:  It's Fashion Metro (Similar)
Joggers:  Forever 21 Plus (Similar)
Heels:  Torrid
Purse:  Ashley Stewart (Similar)
Sunglasses:  Ebay

I also added a little fun and quite frankly non-monochromatic items to the look including studded heels and a black and white purse.  I love showing that you can even find trendy pieces for an affordable price.  Almost all of the pieces worn today, minus the joggers, were found on clearance.

Tip:  If you are inspired by others' fashion, try pinning inspiration you see online to Pinterest.  If you have the Pinterest app on your phone, you can refer to outfits that inspire you while thrifting or shopping clearance.  It helps you form outfits without having search your mind on how to wear a particular piece.
