I love good denim. Denim looks good with almost anything and it's one of the most versatile pieces to have in your wardrobe. Recently, I have been seeing women rocking oversized denim shirts with dresses and shorts. I decided that I wanted to recreate the look, but of course, the thrifted way. I recently visited a brand new Triad Goodwill and I knew just where to go for an oversized denim shirt. I visited the men's section of the store and found a denim shirt in excellent condition for under $5.
I decided to create a simple look with the denim shirt. I put it over a white t-shirt with my favorite Lane Bryant shorts, a Forever 21 choker and Simply Be booties. Although this look is simple, it's major for me. I have always been afraid to show my legs since I'm a bigger woman, but I'm becoming more and more comfortable with my body. I enjoyed being able to show a little leg and the best part is that I felt completely comfortable doing it. Another victory I can add to the book!
