Beauty | Let's Talk About U By Kotex - Sponsored (#DemoDiaries)

Hello Beauties!

As I'm sitting here, I'm realizing...  I'm irritated.  Why am I irritated right now?  I could really go for some chocolate.  Why in the world am I craving chocolate?  All the symptoms are there.  You know what time it is.  It's..."that time of the month."  Ugh. My monthly visitor is never welcome yet it always seems to show up.  My must-haves for this unwelcome visitor are pain reliever, chocolate and protection I can depend on.

The protection I can depend on is where U by Kotex comes in.  Let me take you through the course of my first day using the U by Kotex Extra Maxi.

The Morning

I don't want to get up.  I head to the bathroom and quickly notice that that time of the month started while I was asleep.  Man...  I rush back to my bed to make sure I didn't ruin my sheets.  They're clean!  Now, I'm scrambling to pull out my U by Kotex pads.  They look thick and absorbent.  Although I'm skeptical because I haven't used Kotex in years, I'm going into this with an open mind.  After the shower, it's on and I'm out the door.

Lunch

So far, so good.  This pad feels pretty comfortable and I don't have that icky feeling going on in my underwear region.  You know what I'm talking about.  So, I head to the bathroom to see how it's doing.  I'm impressed that there is no leakage.  I also notice that it's absorbing really well.  A thumbs up so far.  Time for a quick change.

By the way, every time I see these drawers in bathroom stalls I think about how convenient they are for me, but rather unsanitary for the person cleaning them.  Am I weird because I always try to get it directly in the paper bag to make sure the custodian doesn't have to touch it?  I think I'm considerate.

The Evening

I'm finally home.  I'm in pain, but I'm still protected.  U by Kotex may have made me a believer.  Great absorbency and no leakage are hard to find.  This demo made my monthly visitor a bit easier to handle.  Now I can relax with these guys...

U by Kotex Extra Maxi has...

  • Dual cover technology for reliable protection
  • Tru-fit wings to help prevent bunching and keep your pad in place
  • An ultra-flexible 4-layer absorbency system; maximum protection for a heavy flow
  • Available in Regular and Long

  1. I've never used Kotex, and protection is huge for me especially the first few days. I'm clicking for my free sample so I can give it a shot! And you are not the only one that tries to get the "packages" all the way in the little brown bag! ;-)

  2. I'm a faithful Always and Tampax girl but Kotex always seems to have better coupons. Just may have to give Kotex a try.

  3. I have yet to do a Clever Girls Campaign and I want to so bad! I use Kotex and I have used that brand it's cool but I'm team #AlwaysInfinity that has changes my life. But I do use the counterpart Kotex tampons. Also yes I also think about the poor but blessed soul who's job is to clean the sanitary basket on a regular basis. That's horrid!

  4. Lol..this post made me chuckle when you said "you know what I'm talking about" regarding that icky feeling going on down yonder during the monthly. Yup, I know! I hate that feeling too!. I've used Kotex in the past, and really had loved them, but then when I found perhaps the cycle was heavier, I opted for Always Ultra Thin Overnights with wings (whether or not I'm going to bed or out the door). Those seemed to be the only ones that would protect sheets, absorb well and not leave me feeling..icky...

But, now I am definitely looking into trying this from Kotex, if it works out well, it's a good one to add to the rotation.

  5. Thank God I'm breastfeeding and haven't had a monthly friend since I found out I was pregnant, a year and a half ago. Yes, I'm rubbing it in. Lol. But when she returns I wouldn't mind giving Kotex a try for the affordability factor. Free sample? Yes please. And oh - I think I'm a pretty considerate person, too. Nothing but net (or bag, rather) every time lol.

  9. Kotex was my first brand. They offered a Get Started kit that my Mom gave me when it was "my time". Very useful and I hope I can find a similar kit for my daughter. Now I love their U by Kotex collection for tampons, liners and pads but I love the compak tampons the most.
