If there is one thing you can never go wrong with in your wardrobe, it's neutrals. I have been obsessed with neutrals for as long as I can remember. My mother used to ask why I insisted on having so many white shirts in my closet and I would always reply, "You can never go wrong with a white shirt." It's true. Neutrals can be a great base for an outfit or they can be the entire outfit. It's one of those things that is just hard to get wrong. I still love how I used this black and white turtleneck to create a great base for this African print dress here.
I recently found this faux suede skirt on clearance at Gabe's for only $3. I knew I had to grab it, but initially, I wasn't sure how to wear it. After scouring Pinterest, I loved how so many were rocking it with mixed neutrals. I decided to give it a try myself by mixing black, cream and tan. I took a few pieces I already had in my wardrobe like this Target Merona turtleneck and Forever 21+ cardigan and paired with Sonsee tights. This look was easy and sophisticated. Needless to say, I'll be doing it again soon!
