#FabsThrifty30: Printed Jacket

Beauties,

Are you following me on Instagram?  If not, you have missed some of my recent thrifting adventures on Instagram Stories.  I have been thrifting since high school and it's one of those things that never gets old to me.  I love finding current trends as well as hidden gems at the thrift store.  Last week, I stopped in Value Village and found this fun, printed jacket.  It was sitting right there on the rack as if it was waiting for me.  The best part is that it was in great condition and only $2.25!  Of course, it had to go home with me and I thought I would take a fun approach on styling it.

One thing I love about this jacket is not only the bright color, but the print.  It is perfect for spring!  It is easy to take a jacket like this and dress it down, but I wanted to challenge myself so I opted to dress it up.  When I looked on Pinterest for inspiration, I saw quite a bit of yellow and gray outfits so I decided to pull out this dress that I wore here.  This is the infamous dress that I bought a few years ago only to be eligible for free shipping and ended up loving it.

When I first put the dress and jacket on, I felt like something was missing.  I added this statement necklace and open toed booties to give it a little pop.  Of course, a bold lip didn't hurt either!  I love how the look came out and I hope it inspires you to take a trip to your local thrift store soon.
