Fashion Trend: Cold Shoulder Tops

Hello Beauties!

I am usually not the one to be into fashion trends, but I honestly LOVE the majority of trends this summer.  The funny part is that I come upon them unexpectedly.  Since I am trying to stay true to "shopping my closet," I try to stay away from the mall and online stores.  Although I do still drool over shoes online, but I digress...  I recently went in Conway, which is one of my favorite, affordable stores.  When I walked in, I immediately noticed the trend of...

Cold Shoulder Tops!

I was immediately intrigued because the cold shoulder tops give an air of sexiness without being too revealing.  I decided to try the trend for myself and wore the shirt I purchased to the Real Curlfriends of North Carolina's event on National Natural Hair Meetup Day.

  2.  Thank you!  I would try Forever 21 or Torrid.  If no luck, I'm not sure where you are located but also try Conway or Rainbow.  I always find little treasurers there.

  5.  Thanks!  I feel 100% the same way.  I'm not one for a lot of skin showing so this works!

I have one of these shirts from Target...they call them cold shoulder...anyway, the first time I wore it was to class...I loved the shirt but I felt weird and exposed for some reason. I took a picture in them and I didn't LOOK exposed...maybe I just felt that way because its a different feel...we normally wear sleeveless or sleeves...not both???

  7.  Thanks for giving me the name of the top!  I wasn't quite sure what it was called.  :-)  I understand what you mean.  When I tried it on, I definitely felt it wasn't revealing yet not appropriate for class or work.  I can see myself only wearing this on weekends.
