Beauty | Five Ways to Transition Your Skin for Spring

This post is part of a social shopper marketing insight campaign with Pollinate Media Group® and Dove, but all my opinions are my own. #showerawaydryskin #dovedifference #dovepartner  http://my-disclosur.es/OBsstV

Spring is here and as it gets warmer here in North Carolina, I'm bringing out my dresses, sandals and sunnies.  I can't forget one thing, though.  I want to make sure my skin is spring ready too.  With the warmer weather, it's a must that skin is hydrated and soft.  The new Dove Dry Oil collection helps nourish and protect skin from dryness in the shower by effectively cleansing without leaving skin feeling dry and features a nourishing formula infused with Moroccan Argan oil beads to gently cleanse while helping to replenish nutrients to the skin.

I’ve partnered with Dove to tell you all about their New Dove Dry Oil Collection featuring their Dove Dry Oil Beauty Bar and Dove Dry Oil Moisture Body Wash. I'm sharing five ways to transition your skin for the spring season, including the benefits of adding the new Dove Dry Oil collection to your skincare routine.

Five Ways to Transition Your Skin for Spring

1.  Apply a moisturizing mask.

The winter cold can be especially harsh to our skin.  I find that after winter, my face needs a little extra moisture.  Now that we're in spring, I use a mask to give my skin a moisture boost.  Not only does the mask give my skin a boost of moisture, it removes impurities and gives a glow.  Glowy skin and spring time just go together, right?

2.  Add the new Dove Dry Oil collection to your daily routine.

Softer, smoother skin is something every woman desires; however, 1 in 3 women suffer from dry skin and 98% of women feel more confident when their skin is moisturized.  The new Dove Dry Oil Beauty Bar and Dove Dry Oil Moisture Body Wash contains moisturizing cream for soft, smooth and radiant skin.  Add it to your routine and see how much softer your skin feels.  Plus, you can use the Dove Dry Oil Beauty Bar on your face and body.

3.  Remove any unwanted hair.

I don't know about you, but smooth legs and underarms are the first step before putting on a bomb spring dress.  It makes me feel so lady like. There are several ways to remove unwanted hair.  If you want a quick fix, grab your razor and shave your legs while they are warm after using the new Dove Dry Oil collection in the shower.  I'm also a fan of waxing and threading for longer lasting results.  Underarm waxing leaves my underarms hairless for a month.  Can't beat it!

4.  Treat yourself to a manicure and pedicure.

Soft hands and feet are an essential for spring.  I always treat myself to a pedicure to get my feet ready for those open toed heels and sandals.  Your feet will be super soft afterwards and I love to throw on a bright colored nail polish to freshen those hands and toes up.

5.  Increase your water intake.

Are you drinking your eight glasses of water a day?  It can be hard to get those glasses of water in, but it's essential to keep your body hydrated.  Plus, a hydrated body on the inside produces soft, glowy skin on the outside.  Try to increase your water intake and even throw in some lemon water.  Lemon water is great for your skin and helps cleanse your inner body.

How do you transition your skin from winter to spring?

God bless & stay fab,
