I'm not afraid of prints and I'm surely not afraid of bold, bright colors; however, are they work appropriate? I believe you can certainly make both work appropriate. When I recently ran across this bright pink skirt online, I knew I had to order it immediately. It was under $20 and spring was right around the corner. Anytime I make a purchase, I ask myself how many places can it be worn. Due to it being knee length, I knew that if I wanted, I could wear it to work.
The true question is how can I wear it and look professional. When it comes to a bright color, my first thought is to make sure the rest of my look is neutral. I opted to wear it with a button up shirt and blazer to add structure. To have a little fun, I even added a gold metallic heel.

2. Keep your other outfit pieces neutral.
3. Make sure the piece fits properly. Never wear a tight, bright item.
