My Thoughts

I love skincare.  There is just something about my skin being clear and smooth that excites me.  It's probably the fact that I know when my skin is acne free, my makeup application will be utter perfection.  With that said, I went into this review excited and with an open mind.  Over the last three weeks, I used The Magic Pads nightly after washing my face with Neutrogena Pore Refining Cleanser.

Each night after using The Magic Pads, my skin was smooth, soft and not dry like most toners make my skin.  A definite plus!  It also seemed to cleanse my skin well.  The unfortunate part was as days went by, I saw no physical difference in my skin.  It felt great to the touch, but looked the same.  As I gave it more and more time, I still didn't notice a difference.

One thing I feel I should point out here is that thankfully I don't have many skincare issues.  My main skincare concern is hyperpigmentation, but I've never had much acne.  With that said, I just don't think I had the type of skin that this product would benefit.  I think it would be more ideal for acne prone and/or sensitive skin, possibly even teens.

Would I Recommend?

Maybe.  The Magic Pads aren't for me, but if you have acne prone and/or sensitive skin, this may work for you.  I could really see this as being a great product for teens.  There are some awesome, positive reviews for this product online.  Check out this one.

Have you heard of The Magic Pads?

God bless & stay fabellis,

  2. I've never heard of these before, but great review! It's so hard with skincare. Sometimes a product that works fantastic for you, just does nothing for others. I always say skincare is one of those things that you just need to try and see what the results will be! The ingredients in the pads seemed nice though!!

  8. Thanks Christine! I need to stop by your website and see what goodies you've been trying lately. You're so right though! With the tons of product reviews out there of this product that are positive and praising it, I know it just may not be suited for my skin.

  10. Ooh this sounds really good. A lot of the acne treatment type pads like this dry out my sensitive skin so this sounds like a gentler product.

  11. I wonder if these would work for my son, he gets a lot acne for his age! I try to get him to use the Clarisonic, but it's a little too much for him to deal with. LOL I will have to check these out!
