I first learned of Influenster through my blog sister, Nic's Picks, and although I didn't join immediately, I'm now glad that I did! Through doing a few surveys, Influenster is able to learn a little more about you and whether you would enjoy sampling some of the latest products. Products can vary from beauty to food items.

It has been awhile since I have reviewed a beauty item; however, I'm still a huge fan of all things beauty. (Check out some of my favorites here.) Recently, I was perusing the aisles of Target when I came upon a full display of new e.l.f products. The Studio Makeup Mist & Set spray immediately caught my attention. I had never seen it before and I'm always looking for a cheaper alternative to some of my pricey beauty staples.
I picked it up and after seeing Thrift Glam's review of the spray, I had to try it! Before we get into the review, let's take time to learn a little bit more about this product.

As many of you know, I have spent the majority of the summer with my hair in senegalese twists. Taking the combination of needing a break from my hair and the high temperatures of the summer, I felt that this protective style was perfect for me. After six weeks of wearing the twists, I took them out and I already knew what products to grab for. I grabbed for the set of Finickey Products I won from For the Fabulous and Frugal's giveaway a few months back. I couldn't wait to try the products and believe me, it was more than what I bargained for.

This company was created by two young ladies who held a vision of creating something that could be used by various people in various ways. The cream can be used on skin and hair. It can be used on natural tresses as well as a treatment prior to blowing out hair.

As many of you know, I am a true lover of makeup, but what's more important to me is healthy skin. Many times people do not realize that flawless makeup usually yields from healthy skin. Now many of you may find this hard to believe, but if you get close enough to some makeup wearers, you will notice bumps, pimples or marks. Because of this, it's essential to always put the health of your skin first.
Since college, I have been an advocate of Clinique's three-step system. With their skin system being my go-to for so long, I was a little apprehensive when given the opportunity to try something new. However, they always say change is good, right? So...in pops, Mary Kay's two-step system, which includes the Timewise 3-in-1 Cleanser and Timewise Age-Fighting Moisturizer.
